Music video description
"Princes of the Universe" is a song written by Freddie Mercury and performed by the band Queen. The song was written for the soundtrack to the film "Highlander" (Immortal) and was released on the 1986 album "A Kind of Magic." The song was never released as a single in the UK, and at the same time never really hit the charts, but it is nevertheless considered iconic because of its connection to the film. The music video was directed by Russell Mulcahy. It also features scenes from the movie "Immortal." The lyrics also relate directly to the theme of the film.
