In today's post I would like to introduce you to and remind you of the very famous band The Cars in the 1980s. Even today, this band's songs are listened to by thousands of New Wave and Synthpop music lovers, which is why I have decided to present you some of the band's unforgettable hits in the near future. First on the fire goes, of course, one of the biggest hits of the band The Cars namely the song "Drive". The song was released as the third single promoting the album "Heartbeat City" and was written by Ric Ocasek. In the song we can hear the vocals of Benjamin Orr, the band's bass player. In the song's music video you can see Czechoslovakian actress and model Pauline Porizkova, who later became the wife of singer, guitarist, the band's main member Ric.
