As many of you may have noticed, we are trying to catch up with the backlog of songs suggested by our users. The backlog list is really large therefore, there is a lot of material for the next months. Today I decided to add some music videos by The Kelly Family. I remember that the band aroused a bit of controversy in the 90s, for some listening to them was an abomination, while others loved them and cried at their concerts. True fans surely already know that the band was reactivated in 2017 and you can hear them live again. Without looking at tastes and niceties, which should not be discussed, I believe that this band has become a permanent part of musical history, which is why I will add a few videos of this group today. The first is the song that, in my opinion, is where it all began, that is, The Kelly Family 's video An Angel from 1994. Although the origins of the band date back to the second half of the 1970s, the real boom and breakthrough came in '94 with the release of the album "Over the Hump". The first single promoting this album was the song "An Angel" presented in this post. This song was written by Paddy Kelly for his mother who died in 1982.
