Within Temptation - Memories is the second single by this Dutch symphonic metal band, released from their album "The Silent Force." The featured song is an atmospheric ballad, telling the story of love and passing. In the music video, we see the now aged Sharon den Adel ostawiating to visit her old house, which has been put up for sale. Crossing its threshold, she reverts back to her youthful self and the house is gradually rebuilt to the state it remains in her memory. In some scenes, den Adel walks around the house and is plagued by memories of her former lover, and in others she is in the room where she sings along with her bandmates. In one scene from the past, Jeroen, the bands bassist, plays the double bass and Martijn, their keyboardist, plays the piano. When she leaves the house at the end of the film, the whole environment, including the heroine, returns to the state at the beginning of the video.
