Within Temptation - Stand My Ground

The song Within Temptation - Stand My Ground is the first single from the Dutch band's second studio album "The Silent Force." The band performs symphonic metal type music and most of the songs from this album were recorded in collaboration with a symphony orchestra and an 80-piece choir from Moscow. The featured song has become a big hit throughout Europe. In the video, Sharon den Adel (the group's vocalist) discovers that the world is about to be destroyed by a flood. Sharon and her bandmates decide to save themselves by escaping on the Ark (boat), whose location Sharon discovers. Although the video looks like it was shot entirely from a "green screen," the scenes are real. The only computer-added elements are the surrounding buildings and cities. The video was shot in the Netherlands and released 2 weeks before the release of the single.
