Wizzard is an English band formed in 1972 creating music in the style of glam rock. The group ended only 4 years later, mainly because the band consisted of many musicians and the fact that recording in recording studios took a lot of time and thus was very expensive for them. It was said that the band spent more time in the studio on one song than Paul McCartney spent on an entire album. Probably not insignificant was also the fact that Bill Hunt's, one of the band's members, liked to smash pianos at the band's concerts, which cost a lot of money. To this day, the band is mainly associated with their Christmas song Wizzard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday.
