C.C. Catch a.k.a. Caroline Catherine Müller, was born on July 31, 1964 in Oss, the Netherlands and is a pop disco singer. She began her career as a member of the quartet Optimal. She later teamed up with one of the members of the Modern Talkin duo Dieter Bohlen, with whom she released 5 albums. She then moved to the UK where she continued her career but changed her style. Her 1989 album and two singles were no longer as successful as her previous works and the artist decided to retire from the music world. She returned in 1998 with a compilation of her greatest hits.
