Music video description

"Thank You for the Music" is a song by Swedish pop group ABBA, which appeared on the band's fifth studio album "The Album" in 1977. The B-side featured the single "Out Last Summer," but the song "Medley" was used interchangeably in the Netherlands, for example. The song "Thank You for the Music" itself also appeared on the B-side of another single by the group, namely "Eagle," which then became the A-side.

ABBA's hit song "Thank You for the Music" was recorded on July 21, 1977 at Glen Studio. It was intended as another part of the mini-musical "The Girl with the Golden Hair," which appeared on ABBA's tour that same year. The song was written by Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson. It became part of the movie "ABBA: The Movie," which featured studio recordings of selected songs by the group.
