Music video description

Kazimiera Sawicka, known to all as Katarzyna Sobczyk, is a Polish singer born in 1945 in Tyczyn. However, her musical career began in 1961 in Koszalin where she became a singer in the local band "Biała-Zieloni". Then, when she graduated from music school, she joined the "Collegium Musicum" music choir and together with them began touring the country and the world for various concerts. In the following years, already in college, she performed in the band "Lelum Polelum", among others. And this is how she started her career as a star of Polish music, because this is probably what we can call Ms. Katarzynę Sobczyk today . The singer has several prestigious awards to her credit, worth mentioning here, for example, awards at the Festival of Polish Music in Opole for such songs as Katarzyna Sobczyk - Trzynastego in 1967 or Katarzyna Sobczyk - Nie Bądź Taki Szybki Bill in 1966 and Katarzyna Sobczyk - Nie Wiem Czy Warto from 1965. In this post, however, I would like to focus on yet another song, which, by the way, was also awarded at the aforementioned festival. The song in question is O Mnie Się Nie Martw, written by Kazimierz Winkler and composed by Jozef Krzeczek. This hit was first presented at the said festival and immediately won the first prize there in the "Cabaret-entertainment song" category. Finally, I would like to add that on the single, in addition to the presented song Katarzyna Sobczyk - O Mnie Się Nie Martw, also appeared the song Katarzyna Sobczyk - Był Taki Ktoś.
