The band Smokie 's tour of Poland, on which they will perform with a symphony orchestra, begins this week. This is the perfect time to remember the band's greatest hits. Certainly one of the iconic songs should be mentioned Living Next Door to Alice, a song you all know. Here a slightly different version, maybe even more popular than the original because who of you does not know the song "Alice, Who the Fuck Is Alice?". Just how did it happen that suddenly the iconic przebój zespołu Smokie got a new version? Well, in 1995 in one of the Dutch clubs during a party the DJ during the song "Living Next Door to Alice" turned down the music right after the word Alice and then the people gathered at the party sang the words "Alice, who the fuck is Alice?". That's how the idea to record his version of this song was born in the head of Rob Peters, who happened to be visiting the club. He immediately contacted Dutch musician Peter Koelewijn and just a day later they recorded their version of the song as the band Gompie.
