Music video description

"Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)" is a song from the repertoire of the Swedish group ABBA, which was recorded in August 1979. The song was intended to promote the band's North American and European tour and was included on the Greates Hits Vol. 2 album as a new and previously unreleased track. It was written by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulveaus, with Agnetha Faltskog providing the lead vocals. The song is about a lonely woman who longs for romantic love and sees her loneliness as something that leads her into darkness. The lyrics also talk about how life is nothing like the happy images found in movies.

The music video for the hit musical "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)" was directed by Sebastian Redd. It was filmed in Sweden. In it you can see the alternative world in which the band performs the song. Part of the clip also shows the ABBA band at a bowling alley dueling with each other. Despite the fact that the video appeared on many music channels, its popularity was much lower than those released earlier.
